Post Haste: Consider rooting for the Steelers tonight; Business college sets enrollment record

A former Bobcat is playing in tonight’s NFL opener.

Good morning. Here's what you need to know for Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015:

Love it or hate it, it’s that time of year again.

It’s football season.

Tonight marks the beginning of the NFL regular season. The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the New England Patriots at 8:30 p.m., and if you tune in, you’ll likely see a former Bobcat in action.

Mike Mitchell, a former 4-year starting safety for the Bobcats, signed a 5-year, $25 million contract with the Steelers in 2014.

After racking up 71 tackles in 2014, Mitchell is expected to start in Thursday’s game.

If you could use a little more persuading before pulling for the Steelers tonight, the Patriots cut former Bobcat wide receiver Taylor Price from their roster in 2011 after only three games.
