Post Haste: Look for a ‘very, very large nugget of weed’ on OU’s campus; ‘The Hunting Ground’ debuts at Athena

ResponsibleOhio is coming to OU Tuesday.

Good morning. Here's what you need to know for Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015:

Keep your eyes peeled for a very, very large nugget of weed on Ohio University’s campus today.

ResponsibleOhio, a marijuana legalization advocacy group, recently said its marijuana bud mascot named “Buddie” might make an appearance during the group’s stop in Athens.

Where on campus the organization will stop hasn’t been announced, according to this Post article.

A pot legalization measure will appear on Ohio’s general election ballot on Nov. 3. The measure would legalize the use of recreational marijuana for people at least 21 years old.

Should you toss in your support, you’d add yourself to the ranks of NBA Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson and recording artist Nick Lachey, (yes, the frontman of 98 Degrees), as those backing the measure.

The deadline to register to vote is October 5. You can register by mail or at the Athens County Board of Elections, 15 S. Court St.

Weather

Sunny today with a high of 78 degrees. Low of 52 degrees tonight. (Courtesy of Scalia Lab).
