Post Haste: Your iPhone (probably) becomes outdated today; Ohio University's Ellis Hall is too hot for classes

You can update your smartphone at one of the numerous stores on East State Street.

Good morning. Here's what you need to know for Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015:

Welcome to Wednesday. Are you ready for your smartphone to become outdated?

Get ready, because today is probably that day.

Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone 6S today, among other things, at an event in San Francisco at about 1 p.m. (10 a.m. out West).

While the new model likely will not be a total overhaul of the phone’s current design, some are anticipating the addition of Force Touch, a feature that will make the device sensitive to varying amounts of pressure.

It’s also safe to say the devices will be getting a little bigger and will have a slightly better camera.

There are AT&T, Verizon and Sprint stores on East State Street in Athens if you want to replace your aging iPhone in the near future.
