Post Haste: OU gets ranked

Ohio University students can officially say their school is better than 1,654 others, by at least one measure.

What they can’t say, though, is it’s better than it was last year by that same measure.

Every year, U.S. News & World Report releases a list of the schools they think are the best, based primarily on graduation and retention rates. This year, OU snagged spot number 146 — a 17-spot slide from 2015, when it was ranked 129, according to a previous Post report.

Still, the relatively high ranking should assure Bobcat Moms and Dads that they’re paying for more than just partying.

Princeton topped that list for the sixth year in a row.
