The Baker Peace Conference, a yearly event put on by the Contemporary History Institute that brings together experts to discuss national and international issues relating to peace, begins tonight with a keynote address in the Baker Ballroom at 7:30 p.m.
This year, the theme is “Communism: Reflections on a Violent Century.”
The speaker tonight is Dr. Arkady Ostrovsky, a Russian-born British journalist who is currently the Russia and Eastern Europe editor for The Economist.
