Good morning,

Tony Award winning Rent will be in MemAud “Today 4 U” to celebrate the musical’s 20th anniversary.

The hit rock musical follows characters affected by the AIDS epidemic in New York City in 1990. This year’s performance will be the sixth time Rent has come to Ohio University.

The show will start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $22, though the show is officially sold out, so you’ll have to know someone to get a seat.

Aside from winning four of its nominated 10 Tony Awards, the musical also won a Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1996.

Rent had a 12-year run on Broadway, which ended in September 2008.
