Good Morning,

As you prepare for Palmer Place Fest on Friday, you may want to consider ditching the jersey for a jacket.

The ever-moody weather in Ohio is at it again: there’s a decent chance there will be snow on the ground tomorrow morning, and it’ll be pretty chilly all day.

Ethan Emery, a junior studying meteorology, said the sudden dip in temperatures is due to a low-pressure system that moved through the area Wednesday night.

“The back edge of the system is going to have a lot of rain with it, but it’s pulling a lot of cold air from the north and west,” Emery said.

Emery said the cold air, combined with precipitation, could result in a dusting of snow Friday morning. Emery said the snow won’t last for long — the high on Saturday will be around 60 degrees.

“It’s just a little dip of cold temperatures for about a day or two.”

So expect a chilly, gross Palmer Place Fest on Friday evening. But of course, that wouldn’t be much different from last year’s event.
