Hilary Duff could return to her ghostly days of Casper Meets Wendy, but as a different ghost.

The famous child actress known for Lizzie McGuire has been seen on the set of Daniel Farrands’ new horror film The Haunting of Sharon Tate, according to Hilary Duff News on Twitter.

There is no confirmation Duff is part of the project, but Farrands is the producer of The Haunting in Connecticut and Amityville: The Awakening. Duff also posted a photo to her Instagram sporting a baby bump and a caption that said “also not really pregnant guys....just shooting a movie.”

Of course my faves are the “Lizzie” also not really pregnant guys....just shooting a movie @glassesusa muse x Hilaryduff which are your faves???? Tell me tell me now!

Tate was an actress in the '60s who was killed by Charles Manson on Aug. 9, 1969. She was pregnant at the time and is said to haunt the Oman House.

If the news is true, this would be a big move for Duff. It has been a while since she last starred in a big movie, and this role would be a different path for her career.

Duff currently stars on the hit TV show Younger, which airs on TV Land and is streaming on Hulu.
