At its Tuesday night meeting, Graduate Student Senate will vote on three resolutions, two of which address its Rules & Procedures.
Out of the five tabled resolutions from its last meeting, two will be discussed in the next meeting. GSS President Maria Modayil said in GSS Rules & Procedures, if the primary sponsor of a resolution is not present and no one takes on the role, those resolutions are considered “dead.”
“There are only two resolutions that are coming that were from the previous meeting that … someone who is going to be at the meeting tomorrow is the primary sponsor, so I’m bringing those two up,” Modayil said.
The resolutions that will be discussed include creating presentation structure for general body meetings, GSS committee structure and appointing new members.
“These are some applications that we had got before the end of Fall Semester,” Modayil said. “So I’m just getting around to getting all of those endorsed and nominated.”
