A local uptown eatery and popular choice when it comes to grabbing a quick bite to eat was listed for sale Wednesday.
Burrito Buggy, an Athens staple, has been listed for sale, according to a Facebook post. The buggy has been serving burritos to the city since 1984.
For $65,000 in cash, everything is included such as the buggy, name, website, recipes and more.
Marla Rutter, the current owner of Burrito Buggy, declined to comment, but she said she has “a couple of potential buyers.”
With the Facebook post garnering nearly 2,500 shares, some Ohio University students and alumni have gone to social media to express their concern about the food truck. Other users are tagging friends in comments, urging them to buy the business.
