Ohio linebacker Keith Moore was named Mid-American Conference East Division Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
The sophomore totaled a carrer-high ten tackles against Miami in last Tuesday's win.
Moore also had 1.5 sacks and helped in limiting the RedHawks to just 61 yards rushing in the Bobcats' 21-14 win.
This is the first time Moore has received this honor.
The Bobcats will take on Northern Illinois in the conference championship game Friday night at Ford Field in Detroit.
