Tyler Tettleton is listed among the nation's top 25 Division I college football quarterbacks, according to ESPN.com.
Tettleton has the nation's 25th highest passer rating, putting him 80 percent of the country's quarterbacks. He is the fifth-highest Mid-American Conference quarterback on the list, behind Terrance Owens (Toledo), Chandler Harnish (Northern Illinois), Austin Danton (Toledo) and Alex Carder (Western Michigan).
Ohio has not played any of those schools yet but will face either Toledo or Northern Illinois in the MAC Championship game Dec. 2.
Tettleton has completed 63.5 percent of his passes, throwing for 2,653 yards and 23 touchdowns to only six interceptions. He has been sacked 18 times this season.
Wisconsin signal caller Russell Wilson tops the list, and the highly regarded Andrew Luck of Stanford is fifth.
The Bobcats also were mentioned in the most recent ESPN.com bowl predictions. The website's analysts have Ohio facing Ohio State in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl or playing Utah State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
