Ohio swimmer Rachel Stearns was named Mid-American Conference female swimmer of the week, the conference announced on Wednesday.
The Minnetonka, Minn. native won six of seven events she competed in over the weekend in a duel meet against Bowling Green and Eastern Michigan.
Against Bowling Green, Stearns placed first in the 200 medley relay, 100 backstroke and the 200 IM.
Stearns followed up on Saturday by again winning the 200 medley and the 100 backstroke. She also place first in the 200 backstroke and finished second in the 200 IM.
