Athens earned its second straight win at home Tuesday night with a 57-46 victory against Wellston High School.
The Bulldogs are now 3-0 at home and 0-2 on the road.
Leading the way for the Bulldogs was freshman Joey Burrow with 16 points, his third straight game scoring in double digits. He has led the team in scoring for two of the past three games.
Fellow freshman Ryan Luehrman added eight points and a team-high seven rebounds and DeVon Sharp scored 12 and led the Bulldogs with three assists.
Athens plays the first of three straight road games against Meigs on Friday.
