Fans at Saturday night’s Penn State vs. Ohio game will get a chance of their own to skate around the Bird Arena ice after the game.
The Bobcats will play host to a “Midnight Meltdown” skating event after the dust from the Icers/Bobcats tilt has settled, replete with a DJ, festive lights and concessions. The event will begin at 10:30 p.m. and go to 12:30 a.m. and is themed as “Wear your own Jersey,” preferably not a beach volleyball uniform.
Admission is $3.50 to get in, with a $3 skate rental.
Bird Arena will also play host to the same event Feb. 4 and Feb. 18, with “Blast from the Past” and Mardi Gras” set to be the themes on those nights.
