Freshmen pitcher Lauren McClary was named Mid-American Conference pitcher of the week honors for the East Division.
She earned the award after posting a 2-1 record and notching 25 strikeouts in the weekend tournament at USC Upstate.
Ohio compiled a 3-1 record this past weekend. The next tournament will be this weekend against Saint Joseph, Campbell, Robert Morris, and Towson at Campbell University.
