Vine, the six second video sharing service have transformed the way we express our daily thoughts and feelings through video and image. Here is a list of some of the most popular vines surfing the world wide web.

Growing up as a millennial, I’ve seen all sorts of crazy trends on the Internet that lasts from a couple of weeks to a couple of months. Vine has shaped the way people talk, and has been captivating world-wide audiences in just six seconds at a time.

Vine, the video sharing platform acquired by social media website Twitter, emerged in 2012 as a digital voice for millennial youths across all cultures, and is still thriving today. In just a simple share and re-tweet, these short videos have shaped the way we understand and communicate various thoughts and feelings in the 21st century digital age.

Phrases such as “on fleek,” and “what are those?” have been incorporated in the way we express and describe daily situations.

The power of this digital tool has even launched careers for comedians, dancers and singers such as singer, Tori Kelly, actor, Destorm and former Ohio University student, Logan Paul.

No matter what way you’re feeling or any thought you have, there’s always some sort of video that recreates the “so true” moment in a six-second time span.

Here are some of my favorites within the last year:

  1. “Why You Always Lying?” - Nicholas Fraser

Two weeks ago, this vine took social media by storm, which led to multiple recreations and parodies from different viners across the world. It even got the original group to make a new mix of the song.

2.) “Fast Food Places” - Victor Pope Jr

Vine star, Victor Pope Jr., showcases his exact feelings when people tell him the food eaten from fast food restaurants aren’t always “real.”

3.) “EhBee FamWhip” - Eh Bee family

A family of four recreates a Kidz Bop parody to rapper, T-Wayne’s “Nasty Freestyle.”

4.) “Hip Hop Jumanji” - Victor Pope Jr

If you remember the movie Jumanji, then there’s a clear chance you may get this reference.

5.) “How to play off being tased” - KingBach

Originally a YouTube star, KingBach has captivated audiences with his sharp humor on vine in his series, in his series BachelorsPadTV. In this short loop, he demonstrates how to play off being tased.

6.) “Charlie, Charlie” - Nileseyy Niles

Over the summer, the “scary” game, Charlie Charlie, blew up the Internet as kids were trying to play and evoke demonic spirits. Nileseyy Niles recreates a hilarious spoof of the game.

7.) “FASFA” - Victor Pope Jr

Here’s another hit from Victor Pope Jr, which jokes about the amount of money college students receive from FASFA.
