Add a little extra something to what’s in your Easter basket.
Marshmallow Peeps are a holiday favorite and staple of any Easter basket. Here are some cocktail recipes you can use to put a spin on the cute treat.
1 1/2 ounces of cherry vodka
1/2 ounce of Triple Sec
3 ounces of half and half
Dash of Grenadine
Shake with ice and strain it over a glass. Rim a martini glass with colored sugar and add a Peep of your choice as a garnish.
1 1/2 ounces of marshmallow vodka
1/2 ounce of vanilla syrup
1 ounce of cream
Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass rimmed with sugar. Add a bunny Peep to the rim.
3/4 cups of Pinnacle Cotton Candy vodka
2 packets of gelatin mix
2, 16-ounce vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup of water
Add gelatin packets and vodka to saucepan and heat with water. Combine this mixture with 12 ounces of vanilla yogurt and whisk it all together. Add food coloring for extra color and pour the finished mixture into small cups. For another Easter spin, use the bottom half of a plastic Easter egg in place of the small cups. Top each one with a Peep and cool the finished products in the refrigerator.
1/2 cup of rum
1/2 cup of coconut cream
1/4 cup of coconut milk
1/4 cup of pineapple
Mix in a blender and add a pineapple slice and a few yellow Peeps.
Simply fill a jar or pitcher with several Peeps and fill it with the vodka of your choice. Marshmallow, cake or whipped cream flavored are some suggestions. Let the mixture set in the refrigerator for a few days, allowing the Peeps to dissolve and give the vodka a sweet, sugary flavor.
