A modern rendition of this collaboration is Charm of Finches, a duo of sisters from Australia named Mabel and Ivy Windred-Wornes. Gym anxiety, or gymtimidation, is the fear of exercising in front of others and being unsure of what exercises to do at the gym. According to an article by The New York Post on gym anxiety, in a study of 2,000 Americans, 50% said they view the idea of working out in front of others to be a “daunting prospect.” The article further stated that 31% said they feel anxious when thinking about exercising, as well as 48% are intimidated by the large amount of classes and workouts that exist.

Coming off two consecutive tough losses against Buffalo and Ball State, Ohio (7-13, 4-6 Mid-American Conference) needs to get back on track against Bowling Green (11-9, 5-5 MAC). The Bobcats will enter the matchup having played their last few games depleted. They’ve been able to push their remaining players, getting career games from their star-studded freshmen, but it has not been enough to match some of the MAC’s top contenders.

Ohio looked to get revenge against a stingy Dayton team, who had previously beaten it earlier in the season. Ohio’s 4-2 win continued its winning streak to cap off a very successful regular season and take momentum into what it hopes will be a lengthy postseason run in the coming weeks. Both teams came out with fiery energy early, leaning on defensive pressure and counterattack resulting in numerous shots on goal. There was a tense competitiveness in the air, and it felt as if the first team to find the back of the net would have a huge advantage over the other.

Luckily, the Center for Student Engagement and Leadership invited Comedian and Magician, Michael Kent, to perform in the Baker Theatre for a free show on Feb. 3.
