Team tries to keep record perfect

If first impressions provide any indication, the Ohio lacrosse team might have found a new go-to scorer.

Two games into her infant Ohio career, freshman attacker Dana Dobbie already has seven goals on her resume as Ohio (2-0) prepares to play at No. 13 North Carolina Sunday.

I've known Dana for quite some time; I've seen her play and develop as a player

so she hasn't surprised me one bit said midfielder Lynz Keys. She's a talented player who is limitless on the field. She's definitely a player to watch for the next four years.

In her first collegiate match, Dobbie tallied three goals in a 16-4 rout of Albany. She topped that with four goals Sunday, including three after the match reached a 7-7 deadlock, as Ohio beat Duquesne 11-8.

Obviously the impression after two games is that she has a lot of potential but we've only begun to see what she's capable of

Ohio coach Kate Brew said.

The Bobcats might have a chance to see that potential against North Carolina.

There's no doubt that North Carolina is a great team

she said.

We're looking to play a possession game - we need to realize how important it is to hold onto the ball

Brew said. I think the game will be pretty offensively-oriented on both ends

Brew said.

Ohio takes on North Carolina at 1 p.m. Sunday in Chapel Hill, N.C.
