The Ohio volleyball team clinched the Mid-American Conference East Division outright last night with a win against MAC opponent Northern Illinois (9-18 overall, 4-9 MAC) in three games, 30-25, 30-24, 30-16.

we came out with a lot of energy and were well-prepared to play outside hitter Stephanie Blackburn said.
Setter Briana Adamovsky highlighted the match by setting a new school record for career assists. Adamovsky tallied 50 assists during the match to bring her career total to 4,347. This total surpasses the record of 4,328 set by Shannen Braden in 1996.
She is the best setter this school has ever seen coach Geoff Carlston said. I am proud of what she has accomplished throughout her career.
Leading the Bobcat attack was Stephanie Blackburn with 17 kills and a .680 attack percentage. Outside hitters Holly Schetzsle and Julia Winkfield added 16 and 12 kills, respectively.
Libero Michaele Blackburn led Ohio's defense with 15 digs and Stephanie Blackburn added 11.
Our passing picked up well during the match
and we did a good job of executing the offense
Schetzsle said.
The Bobcats now boast a 15-match winning streak, a 21-2 overall record and a 13-0 conference record.
