John Madden once said, Coaches have to watch for what they don't want to see and listen to what they don't want to hear.
During his time here at Ohio University, hockey head coach Dan Morris has seen a lot of something most coaches like to see, success, and on-ice foes have hardly heard the last from Morris and his Bobcats.
A team's success is based on the amount of time and effort you put into it from top to bottom
Morris said. If you put in two hours a day into a program you'll see a direct correlation with your success. You don't get paid for all the hours you put in.
Ohio hockey has enjoyed Morris' presence since 1993, when Morris -a Woodstock, Ontario native -came to Ohio to study urban and regional planning and play hockey.
Dan was the second player I recruited in my coaching tenure and what was appealing to me was his coach-like attributes before he even came to play here said former hockey head coach Craig McCarthy. He was a natural leader and his knowledge of the game was remarkable.
