The weekly Texas Hold 'Em tournaments, which take place in Baker Center every weekend, have been postponed until further notice.
A discrepancy over the legality of hosting the tournaments in a building with a liquor license caused the postponement.
The Ohio Department of Public Safety considers the tournaments gambling, said Baker Center Director Rich Carpinelli.
Baker has a liquor license for catered events
Carpinelli said. Since the ODPS interprets the tournaments as gambling we were forced to put the tournaments on hold.
