Dance or Die has offered an alternative for the past two years to people uninterested in spending their weekends sipping beer and fruity concoctions out of plastic cups at a house party, and now it is joining forces with its predecessor, A Danceable Solution, to create Dancefucker: an ultimate dancing atmosphere.
Televisions will clutter the walls Saturday night at The Union, 18 W. Union St., showing music videos and other various clips set to DJs Dimitri Simakis's and Charley Wilcock's own musical mixes.
We were thinking
'What could we do to make (Dance or Die) a little bit more interactive and take it up a notch?' We realized if we just did completely music videos and put TVs up all over the place there would be so much more to look at. So
at least if you're not dancing
you have something to watch

Although most DJs are categorized as the mixers in nightclubs who spin tracks by Usher, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears, Dancefucker is going old school with its music selection.
We'll be playing a lot of '80s
a good amount of rock; we might even be doing some metal just for the fun of it. It's everything people should know. Whatever it is
it is going to be something that you've heard or that you've seen
Simakis said. It's stuff that you maybe forgot about
but wouldn't mind hearing again.
On the monitors patrons will be able to view not only music videos in full -in case you missed half of it on MTV -but also clips of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Led Zeppelin guitar solos and everything in between.
I just want people to come up and dance and have a good time. It's that simple
Wilcock said.
Every dance night doesn't have to be the same; you can do a lot more than just playing videos
