Faces to watch

The 2004 season was one to forget for not only the Ohio football team, but for Brad Young.

Young started 10 games in 2003. However, the move to the one-back offense combined with injuries left Young with no starts in '04.

To start off during camp

I had a couple injuries that set me back Young said. Kalvin (McRae) stepped in which he did a great job

so they just started playing him.

Young finished the season with 38 yards rushing on 13 carries, after combining for 657 total yards his first two seasons.

I got hurt again in the middle of the season

and I was out for three or four games

so that set me back even more

Young said. I kept on working and going to rehab

but Kalvin filled my role

and he did a good job.

The move to a two-back set opens up a spot for Young, who will come out of spring practice as the starting fullback. Young played fullback during 2003, so the position is nothing new for him.

Playing fullback

it comes natural to me

he said. I'm more of a straight-ahead runner. And fullback
