The Mid-American Conference Championships concluded Saturday at Goldsberry Track with the Central Michigan men and Kent State women taking the MAC titles.
Ohio men's team landed sixth out of seven teams, totaling 54 points, while the women placed 11th out of 13 teams, scoring 16 points.
The star of the weekend for the Bobcats was Scott Mayle who had a hand in 33 of Ohio's points. He earned 19 points individually. Mayle participated in five events: the 100-and 200-meter dash, the 100-relay and 400-relay and the long jump. This was only his second meet this season.

try to balance going from football to here and competing Mayle said. I'm still not at the top a couple more weeks until regionals and hopefully I'll be there by then.
