Comments wanted for balanced page

And so we begin another year.

As students adjust back to the daily grind of classes, group meetings and extra-curricular activities -both wholesome and otherwise -The Post's Opinion page is also beginning anew. Those faithful readers of The Post, and those who pick it up for the crossword and sometimes read an article or two, might notice a few differences between last June and this September. First, in the interest of providing a more balanced Opinion page, The Post has decided to change its editorial cartoonist. Cartoons by Michael Ramirez will be taking the place of the Mike Luchovich cartoons that have graced the pages of The Post for a number of years. We at The Post believe that the Ramirez cartoons can provide a fresh perspective in the daily cartoons.

Also, The Post is trying to change another feature of page 2 that has seemed to drag down the overall quality of the Opinion page in the past few years. What could possibly bring down the quality of the Opinion page you ask? Well, the utter lack of input from students, professors, local residents or anyone else that happens to read our newspaper.

Although it might sound clich+
