I couldn't be happier for Ohio University and coach Frank Solich. Get ready Bobcat fans, there's more to come from this guy who has fire in his gut to say the least.
I saw that fire in 1965 at my first Husker football game where a 155-pound fullback (Solich) wearing #45 ran all over the OSU Cowboys. Solich helped make Nebraska football a dynasty, and I hope he does the same for the Ohio Bobcats.
If I'm not mistaken, Solich still holds the single-game yards-gained record by a fullback at 205 yards against Air Force in 1965. I just ordered my OHIO UNIVERSITY sweatshirt after the Bobcats took care of Pitt. Solich is the main reason I'm a Husker fan to date. Make him welcome; you have a winner on your hands.
