As the last two undefeated teams in the Mid-American Conference met Saturday in Ypsilanti, Mich., only the winner would be in position to control its path through the remainder of the season.
The Ohio women's volleyball team made sure that team would be the Bobcats by sweeping the Eastern Michigan Eagles 30-28, 30-26, 30-24.
The Bobcats (14-2 overall, 4-0 MAC) took care of the Eagles by clamping down at the end of the matches despite the Eagles' ability to keep the games close.
