As a daily reader of The Post, I would like to respond to Mark Gaffney's letter (Oct. 14, Dems' voter registration efforts go unheeded). The highly self-esteemed president of College Democrats/College Liberals threw quite a temper tantrum in regards to The Post's refusal to be a mere mouthpiece for him and his not-so-glorious party.
Gaffney has obviously been very pampered on campus in previous quarters and truly misses the days when the student-run newspaper was nothing but liberalism, day after boring day, month after dreadful month.
The president of College Democrats/College Liberals has been artificially shielded from real life, real media, real free speech and real diversity. Maybe somebody should give him a box or two of Kleenex (he's going to need tissues) ... and maybe some whiskey or Valium (to calm his nerves) too.
I believe it would be super-awesome if Gaffney would grow up and start behaving like a real live American adult.
