With a 3-4 dual meet record so far this season, the Ohio wrestling team is looking for a match to gain some momentum.
The Bobcats have a chance tonight when they open their Mid-American Conference season against Eastern Michigan.
It is a fresh start for us
174-pound wrestler Ryan Knapp said. In the long run we really just need to go out there and wrestle and do what we can to win.
The Eagles, who finished one spot ahead of the Bobcats in last weekend's Southern Scuffle, boast 125-pound wrestler Sean Clair whose 19-8 record leads the team.
Ohio's 125-pound wrestler Caleb Metcalf lost his first meeting with Clair this season, 7-1, in the quarterfinal match at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational in early December.
Bobcats' coach Joel Greenlee acknowledged how talented Clair is.
(Clair) is pretty tough Greenlee said. I mean
he's a true freshman who's strong and mean and pretty good on top. I think we can wrestle with him but he's very good. There's no question that it'll be a tough match
he's not going to just roll over.
