The Ohio men's basketball team will host Samford University on Feb. 18 for its ESPN Bracket Buster game.
The matchup, which has been arranged by ESPN, is one of 13 pairings of the 26 mid-major teams selected for the televised contests. The games will be aired on ESPN's channels ranging from ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN360 on Feb. 17 and 18.
The Samford Bulldogs are in first place in the Ohio Valley Conference with an overall record of 14-5. The Bulldogs will be traveling from their hometown of Birmingham, Ala.
It will be a big game for us
said Ohio coach Tim O'Shea. They are in a tough conference and have a good record similar to ours.
