AP Finalists

Four current and former Post staffers are finalists in the Associated Press Society of Ohio's 2005 newspaper competition.

The Post competes at the Division II level against papers with a daily circulation of 8,000 to 12,999. Winners will be announced April 30 in Columbus.

Ohio University 2005 graduate Suzanne Wilder's coverage of the discovery of plagiarism in Russ College of Engineering graduate student theses is being considered in the best investigative reporting category. Wilder was The Post's special projects editor last year.

Kristen Perry, The Post's copy chief and an OU senior, is a best headline writer finalist.

Post staff photographer Chris Kelleher's photo of a Nov. 2 anti-war protest, Railing against recruiters

is being considered in the best general news photo category.

Dan Rinderle, The Post's associate editor and an OU senior, is a best editorial writer finalist. 17
