I have come to know the recent controversy between Ohio University Catering and the students associations.
While I sympathize with their concern that the associations may find the strict enforcement of the regulations as prohibitive for organizing their functions due to limited funding, I would like to point out how satisfied we were whenever we organized a lunch or dinner for any event - whether for a wedding reception or international conferences banquet or lunch.
Baker Center prepared the Indian food of the type we wanted. The personal interest of Mary Jones and Gwyn Scott, and the kitchen staff of the Food Services at the Baker Center made everything as we liked. They made all efforts to satisfy our needs and prepared what we asked. They even arranged pre-tasting sessions and made changes as we suggested. They were open to any suggestion.
We have been extremely pleased with the food and service. I was told just the other day that they prepared samosas and pakoras for a reception in February better than they had elsewhere. Thus, using Ohio University Food Catering Service may have several advantages.
