Youngstown State tried to steal one from the Bobcats last night in Bob Wren Stadium, but the Ohio baseball team held on to beat the Penguins, 13-11.

The Bobcats fell behind early as the Penguins scored four runs off Bobcat starter Andrew Shisila and reliever Daniel Utts in the first inning. However, Ohio took the lead in the top half of the second inning as 15 Bobcat batters came to the plate.

First baseman Brandon Besl and right fielder Matt Stiffler drew back-to-back walks to start the inning. Besl later scored on a Willie Walker single for Ohio-

Ohio's offense exploded for 13 runs, including 11 in the second inning, in the Bobcats' 13-11 win yesterday night against the Youngstown State Penguins. The Bobcats travel to Toledo on Friday to face the Rockets.
