The university named two men distinguished in communication and science as this year's undergraduate commencement speakers.
Brian Unger, satirical commentator for National Public Radio and Ohio University alumnus of 1987 and Charles Vest, former president of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will address the undergraduate colleges Saturday, June 10, according to a communication and marketing press release.
Unger will be speaking at 9:30 a.m. to the colleges of communication, business, engineering, fine arts, University College and Regional Higher Education. He hosts FOX TV Network's World's Craziest Videos.
Chair of the U.S. Department of Energy Task Force on the Future Science Programs, Vest will address the 2 p.m. commencement for the Honors Tutorial College, and colleges of arts and science, education and health and human services.
