Some Ohio University faculty members made an attempt to give OU President Roderick McDavis and Provost Kathy Krendl ratings through yearly evaluations at the Faculty Senate meeting Monday night. The proposal ended with a split vote of 23-23, with one member abstaining.
Just because the official proposal stalled doesn't mean professors can't still evaluate the administration. I have developed a cost-benefit analysis ' giving a thumbs up or thumbs down to things happening at the university ' to see if I can give the administration a vote of confidence or a vote of no confidence for their actions.
The Tier 3 requirement was eliminated, so future classes will not have to worry about pink slipping during their final quarter into the pointless class about Michelangelo or alternative medicine that in no way relates to their major,-
