The scoring came early but not often for Ohio in its 1-0 victory over visiting Robert Morris yesterday. Ohio (1-2) took the lead for good when forward Lindsey Price sailed a high, arching corner kick that Rachael Goulding headed into the back of the net just 1:35 into the match. The assist was a small change of pace for Price, who was the squad's leading goal scorer in 2005.I always look for Rachael because she's the tallest

I was actually playing against my teammate from my club team so I really wanted to score against her she said. That's hopefully just one of many more to come.The Bobcats were able to keep the pressure on Robert Morris (1-3), tallying six shots on goal to double the Colonials' shot total. Ohio also attempted twice as many corner kicks as its opponent. I think our defense was a bit more organized than it had been in the last few games

We look to possess out of our defense a lot more.Starting her third consecutive game between the pipes, goalkeeper Jess MacLean chalked up one save in the first half before being relieved by Dominique Wright, who saw her first action of the regular season.They're both battling for the starting spot

so this was her opportunity to get some playing time. We see them as having different strengths but equally talented.Although the defense kept Robert Morris off the scoreboard, Ohio missed multiple opportunities to put themselves there. Forward Alyssa Zimmerman sent a shot off the crossbar at the end of the first half while both Tiffany Horvath and Erika Schmitt took shots on goal with no results.Regardless, the win lifted the spirits of the Bobcats.It's great that we finally got a win
