Ohio University President Roderick McDavis will answer questions from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday in the Ping Center lounge.
The session is open to faculty, staff and students, said Joe Brennan, executive director of University Communication and Marketing.
The town hall style meeting will be an opportunity for senior leadership members to listen to concerns from the university community, Brennan said.
It will be completely open
he said. Any question is fair game.
Brennan denied the event was scheduled in response to recent negative publicity about the university.
We're doing it because this is the right thing to do he said. This is about giving people opportunities to talk to the leadership.
Cabinet members and university deans have also been invited and also will be available for questions, Brennan said. Brennan would not speculate on how many people would attend the event, but said it will be set up to accommodate 250 people.
