William O'Neill is running for Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court, and I think OU students ought to vote for him. Not only is he a great judge, but he's an alumnus of Ohio University, and an outstanding citizen and patriot.
As a judge, William O'Neill has been rated A+
Excellent ' the highest ranking ' by all five Bar Associations in Judicial Rating Coalition. He serves on the bench of the 11th District Court of Appeals, and he's gotten the five-for-five A+ rating in 2004 and 2006. His opponent got a C+ from three of the associations and an F from the other two this year.
William O'Neill is a bronze star Army veteran of Vietnam, and his son has served in Iraq.
But William O'Neill is a Democrat and proud of it. You know he is serious about fighting the Republican culture of corruption because he is taking No Money from Nobody. His campaign is 100 percent grassroots; his materials are printed in his garage with the help of his family and distributed by volunteers throughout the state. His opponent will spend well over $1 million this campaign season ' is the Ohio Supreme Court for sale?
