I would like an equal opportunity to respond to Damon Krane's long commentary in the Oct. 31 edition of The Post.
Mr. Krane attended the SEAL forum that was held here on campus recently and then he wrote his version of what happened at our little get-together. He did not present any verifiable evidence about anybody or anything. Krane merely shared his views on race and color and stuff like that.
I do believe Damon Krane has outed himself as a man ignorant of science and as a man oblivious to the pain and suffering of the American student population.
Scientists from all over the world proved way back in the early 1800s that there is only one race of people living on Earth. And the scientists have proven that the one race shares the same color ' a color which comes out in a lovely variety of shades.
The differences in our skin shades are largely a result of exposure to the sunshine. If we all came together and showed each other the bottoms of our feet and the palms of our hands, anyone with eyes would easily see the same color from one person to another.
It sure would have been kind of the educators to give us the facts about race and color, but as every American with a brain knows, the education establishment is not in the business of delivering facts to us. They are in the business of social indoctrination at all levels of schooling for the sake of corporate government power and control.
Did Damon Krane NOT go through the same shit we all did? Did he miss out on the psychological warfare WE have endured since kindergarten? Krane does not recognize the indoctrination at OU ' he does not see the educators messing with the students here.
In his long commentary, Mr. Krane also exposed himself as a man afflicted with a superiority complex. He put himself high above every student at the SEAL forum: the light-shaded AND the dark-shaded; the conservative AND the progressive. He thinks he's special or smarter, cleaner, better than the rest of us. Krane is obviously living in a fantasy world, for in the real world we are all equals.
