It's Manning's time to shine
If anyone reading this knows anything about football they know this statement to be true: The Colts are going to win the Super Bowl. It's simple.
After Peyton Manning and his team broke the Tom Brady curse that had been plaguing them for the past few seasons, they erased all doubt. Manning has had a phenomenal career, Hall of Fame worthy no doubt, but the absence of a Super Bowl ring on his finger is something that he does not want. He just finished his ninth season in this league, he has been waiting a long time for this chance, and a player of his caliber is not going to let this opportunity slip through his fingers.
Not to mention he is surrounded by other future Hall of Famers, like Marvin Harrison. The Colts have the number one passer, receiver and leader in sacks and numbers two and three in receiving. Indianapolis ranks above Chicago in every category.
If you don't believe that Manning has the determination, you just have to believe the numbers.
Besides the fact that the Colts are a great team, Rex Grossman is a clown. He's not a good quarterback and we all know that. The experience level is just not there for Grossman.
Now, I know that the Bears have hall of fame worthy players on their team (if you have known me for more than five minutes you know my love...obsessionwith Brian Urlacher) but the difference is too great for a few players to make up for. The Bears made it this far but they are in the NFC, which is definitely less competitive than the AFC. My Cowboys are in the NFC and I will admit that.
In closing, GO COLTS!
