Imagine a town with a 20-year water shortage so severe that private toilets are obsolete. A corporation owns all the public bathrooms and residents have to pay to use the facilities. The Lost Flamingo Company brings this town to life in their production of Urinetown.
The three-time Tony winning musical satirical comedy pokes fun at local government, corporate mismanagement and conventional musical theater. The show marks the third annual Lost Flamingo musical production. The large student cast will perform tonight and tomorrow as well as May 25 and 26 at ARTS/West, 123 W. State St. at 8 p.m. There is a free shuttle to ARTS/West running from 7 to 7:45 p.m. at the fourth floor entrance outside Baker University Center. Tickets are $5.
