There are good things about the publication for which you work, which has finite resources.
However, it was disappointing that you chose not to report on the results of the efforts of the university's Department of Residence Life May 9 to provide a resource for education and discussion about adult human sexuality during their Porn Night event at Baker University Center.
At this event was one of the most disgusting spectacles it has ever been my misfortune to observe.
The first video segment shown during the event, after a few minutes of well-organized discussion and audience participation, was from a movie that had won acclaim from Adult Video News in 2005. This was its opening minute or two, which depicted a bound and bloodied woman expressing fear and pain and trying to escape something or someone. Of the audience of about a hundred people, it seemed like about a third of the audience, male and female, laughed at this.
Please consider helping me understand this reaction to the (presumably depicted) abuse of a person and eliminating its cause. Thank you.
