Can't Touch This: America should learn and benefit from history's military mistakes

It only comes around once a year. Only a twisted individual would think of it as a joyous occasion. Many people have said that the world changed on this day, and they're unfortunately right. On this day, six years ago, 2,974 civilians died immediately. 24 innocents died later on, due to lung disease caused by the event's dust. On September 11, 2001, America was rendered invulnerable no longer.

I don't wish to rehash what happened on that day, because everyone knows what happened. Whether we like it or not, that day is permanently etched into our collective consciousness. However, there are some people who think that, as a nation, we need to get over it, and go back to a pre-9/11 mentality. That sounds nice, but it's na+
