Ohio was unable to take down one school from the Bluegrass State, but a second chance comes Sunday.
The Bobcats will travel to Kentucky to take on the Wildcats Sunday.
Wednesday, the Bobcats played their home opener against Louisville. Maggie Rojas-Alford scored the team's first goal of the season, but the Cardinals answered with two goals at the tail end of the game to steal the victory.
The loss dropped Ohio to 0-2-1 on the season.
Kentucky (2-0-1) blew past Evansville 4-1 in its home opener Wednesday. Four different players scored for the Wildcats.
The game kicks off a four-game road trip for the Bobcats.
