After cruising past Saint Louis 4-1 Saturday, Ohio had to fight for its third Mid-American Conference victory yesterday against Missouri State. The No. 11 Bobcats ultimately triumphed 1-0 in double overtime.
Midfielder Rachelle Coetzee scored the game-winner for the Bobcats (9-3, 3-0 MAC) against the Bears. She received a pass from forward Torrie Albini in the 91st minute and knocked the ball past Bears goalkeeper Kim Kinsella.
Coetzee said she felt a sense of relief as she saw the ball find the back of the cage.
