Bob Regan here from the Nashville Songwriters Association International, a speaker on the recent p2p panel. There was a lot of rhetoric flying around at the forum, so I thought it might be interesting to inject some reality into the debate.
I would like to invite any student who feels that music should be free on the Internet to take a trip to Nashville for a few days to see first hand what the creation of music in this format actually entails. I'll introduce you to artists, songwriters and musicians at all levels, engineers, publishers, managers and even major label executives.-
