Over the past couple of years, the current administration at the sheriff's office has racked up a quarter million in lawsuits. Athens County is one of the poorest communities in Ohio; can we really afford more lawsuits? Under the current administration, these events will probably occur again. This money could be used to work toward fixing problems within our community, such as homelessness. If Pat Kelly were in office, these things would not happen. Pat Kelly represents the change needed to fix the problems in Athens County. That is why I implore all Democrats to cast your vote for Pat Kelly for Sheriff.
