Ohio is still searching for a victory in a MAC Championship event or even a second place. The team, however, is sitting in second place, trailing only the regular season MAC champions Toledo.
Yesterday's action was a roller-coaster battle between Ohio and Toledo. Toledo started off the day in the lead.-

Ohio lost its lead in the sixth event, the 1-meter dive. Ohio scored eight points compared to Toledo's 46. Toledo placed three divers in the top eight. - it's something special Werner said.
Again, the team displayed its uncanny depth by qualifying more swimmers for the finals than any other school. -

Werner said he believes that the team's strong endurance will kick in over the next two days.
